Assimilation Course

A fair go for all...........

Assimilation is the single biggest issue with both locals and of course immigrants.

We are a peaceful, respectful and tolerant Nation and we need to insure that the concerns, expectations, traditions and way of life of the Australian Citizens are clearly understood by people wishing to immigrate to Australia.

The course is designed, not to be difficult or by structure, disadvantage any particular race, religion or culture.

The intent is simply to ensure that immigrants understand our culture and are aware of their Moral, Cultural and Legal obligations in order to rapidly assimilate with the Australian Society.

There will be a “Basic English” component that will teach the immigrants basic oral English skills in order that they can communicate effectively.

The course structure will be developed in consultation with community input as well as interested stakeholders to ensure that all relevant topics are covered.

This is about creating an inclusive society whilst at the same time being able to enjoy and embrace alternative cultures.
