implementation date.

On-Time is essential......

The "Implementation Date" is the date by which both houses of Parliament must have passed the legislation required to enable the decision of the Focus Vote issue.

The date will vary in duration depending on the issue and the complexity of the required legislation.

This will be determined in consultation with appropriate stakeholders to ensure that sufficient, but not excessive, time is allocated for the Parliamentary Process.

The decision has already been made by the People, it is the task of Parliament to ensure that the appropriate legislation, with necessary safe guards is passed.

Should either or both houses fail to pass the legislation by the "Implementation Date" then the Politicians Salary will be suspended from the Implementation Date through to the date that the Legislation is passed.

Parliament will be able to apply to the High Court of Australia for an extension to the Implementation Date if there are unforeseen or extenuating circumstances that prevent the passing of the legislation.
